In the beginning...

My journey with wool felting began with a deeply personal wish: to keep the memory of my beloved cat, Kiki, close in a form I could hold. What started as one handmade keepsake slowly became a craft I devoted myself to.

After three years of practicing, refining, and creating wool felt pet portraits, I opened my own studio and began building Pawtrove Feltever as an independent brand.

Today, we create custom wool felt portraits for pet lovers around the world, with our own studios in China and Japan. Every piece is still made with the same intention that started it all: to honor the pets who stay in our hearts forever.

A handmade story, told piece by piece

Fur Love Story

A handmade story, told piece by piece

Not just how they looked,
but how they felt

A pet is remembered in the smallest things: the tilt of their head, the softness in their eyes, the way their ears changed when they heard your voice.

Before we begin each portrait, we look closely at your photos and the stories behind them. Then, layer by layer, we shape the wool until the piece feels familiar, not only as a likeness, but as a memory you can hold.

1000 portraits, 1000 love stories

Now...

1000 portraits, 1000 love stories

Today, Pawtrove Feltever has handcrafted over 500 custom wool felt portraits for pet lovers around the world.

Each piece begins with your photos, your memories, and the tiny details only you would notice. From a familiar gaze to the shape of a favorite pose, we create every portrait by hand so it feels more than realistic.

It feels personal.

Why did I choose to become a wool artist

The first wool friend was made for my beloved cat

In 2013, I was in college, I rescued a tiny black kitten named Kiki. She stayed with me through my early working years as we traveled across West Coast cities.

Later, we settled into a warm home, and she turned ten.

After Kiki left me, I was overwhelmed with longing for my loyal companion. To keep her close forever, I learned wool felting and made a lifelike replica of her.

Hope my craft can comfort more pet owners and pet lovers
